Dr. Farhad Rahimpanah, a seasoned obstetrician and gynaecologist, embraces a holistic approach to women’s health, seamlessly blending his extensive expertise with unwavering care. His comprehensive fertility treatments are anchored in the innovative Mild Ovarian Stimulation protocol for IVF procedures. Dr. Rahimpanah’s practice spans the full spectrum of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with a particular focus on high-risk pregnancies, female infertility, minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, female incontinence, and reconstructive vaginal procedures.
In 2001, Dr. Rahimpanah earned his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. His educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science degree specialising in Molecular Biology and Genetics, followed by medical school graduation from the University of New South Wales in 1992. Dr. Rahimpanah’s early training as a Registrar in South Western Sydney Area Health Services honed his skills in Feto-maternal medicine and managing high-risk pregnancies. His commitment to excellence led him to seek further specialisation in gynaecological minimal access (Laparoscopic) surgery and infertility management, which he pursued through training at prestigious institutions and participation in conferences both nationally and abroad, including specialised training in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Rahimpanah’s multifaceted expertise extends across diverse facets of women’s health, encompassing obstetrics, primary infertility management, minimally invasive surgery, reconstructive procedures for the pelvic floor and vagina, female urinary concerns, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, contraception, and the care of abnormal Pap-smears.
Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Rahimpanah is fluent in Persian and holds senior consulting positions at Liverpool, Ryde, and Sydney Southwest Private Hospitals. He actively mentors RANZCOG trainees at Liverpool Hospital, concurrently serving as a Conjoint Senior Lecturer for the University of New South Wales and the University of Western Sydney. He further contributes to the medical community’s growth as a board examiner for RANZCOG and AMC (Australian Medical Council).
Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Rahimpanah is a devoted family man who enjoys quality time with his wife and three sons.
