Dr Sonya Jessup is a highly esteemed fertility and female IVF specialist who brings unwavering dedication and compassionate care to her patients. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG), having completed her undergraduate training at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. Dr Jessup furthered her studies as a Fellow in Reproductive Medicine and Endocrinology for three years, and she holds a Masters of Reproductive Medicine from UNSW. Her subspecialty training focused on advanced laparoscopic surgery and general gynaecological surgery.

Driven by her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field, Dr Jessup has attended training courses with the European Society of Cosmetic Gynaecology ESAG in Harley St, London, and the International Cosmetic Gynaecology Conference (ICGC) in Dubai, UAE. This additional training has allowed her to expand her expertise and provide comprehensive care to her patients.

With extensive experience in managing fertility and IVF cycles, Dr Jessup has personally overseen thousands of cases at both corporate-level and small IVF clinics. Currently practicing in Miranda, Dr Jessup firmly believes that the initial consultation is a crucial step for women, as it allows for a tailored approach based on their specific diagnosis. This comprehensive consultation includes a thorough history review, examination, ultrasound scan, infection screening, and blood and urine tests. Recognising the uniqueness and sanctity of each patient’s IVF journey, Dr Jessup places great importance on treating each individual with personalised care and keeping their personal goals in mind.
