Founded in 2009, Sydney-based Demeter Fertility is a small private fertility clinic that emphasises inclusivity, cost-effectiveness and a whole-body approach to reproductive health.

Dr Knight is a trailblazer in fertility care. He has achieved numerous milestones including overseeing the birth of the first Australian baby born through luteal stimulation and multi-COS cycles.

Our patient-first approach stands in stark contrast to the big corporate clinics.

Before establishing Demeter Fertility, Dr Knight worked for some large providers and became frustrated with the tension between patient care and shareholder profits. To maximise their efficiency, bigger places often follow a one-size-fits-all model of fertility treatment where all patients are prescribed the same medication and all have their eggs collected on the same day.

Basically, you have to fit around them. In contrast, we fit around you.

A destination of choice for interstate patients

Victorian patients may choose to come to NSW to access rebates unavailable at home. Indeed, many of our patients travel to us from interstate or overseas. Others come from remote parts of Australia.

Though we’re a Sydney-based IVF clinic, we’ve welcomed patients from Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, regional NSW and overseas patients from New Zealand, the USA, Namibia and Austria.

Though many appointments are conducted through telehealth, you need to attend in person for egg collection or embryo transfer.

To relieve some of the stress involved in travelling at short notice, we offer you access to last-minute accommodation at a heavily discounted price through our partnership with Travelodge Hurstville. This is just 200m from our Hurstville clinic.
