As there has been a shift towards delaying motherhood in recent years, there has been an increasing rate of infertility.
The most important factor in a woman’s fertility is her age. This is because as a woman ages her fertility naturally tends to decrease. There can be a range of factors contributing to infertility in women including:
- Failure to ovulate or problems with ovulation
- Problems or damage to the fallopian tubes
- Endometriosis
- Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
- Fibroids
- Pelvic inflammatory disease
To assess a female’s infertility, we conduct fertility testing to try to identify underlying problems affecting reproductive health.
